Flathead CARE.
"Becoming a Leader is synonymous with becoming yourself It is precisely that simple, and it is also that difficult."
-Warren Bennis
We believe that everyone is of value and has something great to offer. By creating a safe space for youth to be themselves, we inspire young people to catalyze change in the world around them. As a community based non-profit, Flathead CARE provides drug and alcohol prevention services, youth empowerment, and peer mentoring to middle school and high school students. Participants in our program help create presentations, community events, and support groups for their peers. Each year our organization reaches over 10,000 families in our community. "Flathead CARE has given me opportunities to build leadership roles within the community and amongst peers; it has allowed me to unlock my full potential. Affinity and Kids Camp have shown me the best version of myself and how powerful I can be. At CARE so many people, myself included, discover how much self worth we have. I love the connections I've made with kids my age at CARE and the life long friendships I have now. Flathead CARE has changed my life and given me a new sense of happiness that I am grateful for."
Ben Wright
"CARE has transformed my perception of myself through self-reflection, opening my eyes to many new experiences and to my true self. The program has brought me lasting friendships and support systems. I have been given multiple chances to help peers, youth, and people in need. CARE truly excites me from the activities we are involved in and the members who participate. WE MAKE A CHANGE!!!"
